Tom Yoo

Tae Jong (Tom) Yoo is one of Kinesiologist serving Evergreen Rehab and Wellness – Langley-Willoughby clinic. He graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. During his undergraduate degree, Tom spent time volunteering in the UBC BodyWorks program, where he helped instruct and teach fitness classes to older individuals of various functional limitations. He is currently a practicing member of the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK) and focuses his practice on active rehabilitation.

Tom is passionate about helping his clients reach optimal functional capacity through physical activity and exercise to therefore improve their quality of life. Personal experiences with injuries and chronic pain motivates him to help individuals with similar limitations to be able to eventually reach their goals of optimal health, fitness, and overall well-being.

Tom believes in client-based approaches, aiming to create individualized rehab programs that will maximize benefits for each unique client. He continues to study and build on his knowledge in active rehabilitation so that he may provide the most effective and beneficial services to his clients.
