
Tyler is a Registered Physiotherapist and Clinical Supervisor at the Evergreen Clinic in Coquitlam. He achieved a Bachelor of Kinesiology in 2015 and a Masters of Physical Therapy in 2017 from the University of British Columbia. Looking at his past academic achievements, Tyler was awarded the Kinesiology Undergraduate Society Prize and the Physiotherapy Association of BC Student Engagement Award upon graduation.
Tyler specializes in treating sport and work related injuries, motor vehicle accidents, vestibular conditions, and has experience with effectively managing chronic low back pain and shoulder pain. With over 9 years of exercise experience, Tyler creates individualized exercise programs to restore movement and function for his patients. He is trained to provide treatments that include IMS (dry needling), manual therapy, shockwave therapy, electrotherapy, and vestibular rehab. Moreover, Tyler is able to provide services in English, French, and Cantonese.

Tyler has always been very passionate about sport medicine and fitness, and wanted to use his knowledge to help others. In the past, Tyler has volunteered as a weight training coach for the Special Olympics Vancouver team, and has worked as a lifeguard, personal trainer, and fitness instructor. Currently, Tyler volunteers as an alumni mentor in the UBC Kinesiology Mentorship Program. In terms of his athletic background, Tyler was a competitive powerlifter and won the BCPA 2015 Winter Open Bench Press competition for his weight class and age.
Outside of the clinic, Tyler loves going to the gym and has hopes of competing in powerlifting again someday. Recently, Tyler has joined a multi-sport recreational league with his church group, that includes volleyball, basketball, and soccer. On the weekends he enjoys eating a lot of food and spending time with his loved ones.
