
Alan is a registered Kinesiologist at Evergreen Rehab and Wellness in Langley. Alan obtained his Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia in the Interdisciplinary stream. During his undergraduate, he was an active volunteer at the Physical Activity Research Centre (PARC) where he assisted spinal cord injury patients with exercises. He was also involved in the Brain Wellness Program (BWP) as he led exercise classes for patients with various neurological disorders. Alan was also a coach for a local high school basketball team and taught swimming lessons for the City of Coquitlam.
Alan is passionate about helping others achieve their health and fitness goals.
Being a Kinesiologist provides Alan with the knowledge to help patients improve their mobility, strength, and overall functioning to help enhance their daily lives. Working with different patient populations during his undergraduate has allowed Alan to prioritize patient care and learn how to develop treatment plans for patients’ individual needs.
In his spare time, Alan enjoys playing basketball, working out, and playing the piano. He has also recently gotten into the sport of Triathlon and competed in the North Shore Triathlon as well as the Vancouver triathlon earlier this year.
